Training of gunners and drivers on the "Milos" vehicle for participation in the United Nations peacekeeping operation in Lebanon has been completed
Gunners and drivers have completed training on the Miloš armoured multi-purpose combat vehicle at Base South, as part of preparations of an infantry company of the 1st Army Brigade for deployment with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

This training segment is one of the key steps in the unit’s preparation for deployment in the mission area using new vehicles, which as of this year will be used by the SAF contingent in UNIFIL instead of VPB M-86 military police combat vehicles.

Owing to its high mobility, integrated armament system, ballistic and anti-mine protection and cutting edge communication and optronics, the Miloš vehicle can be used for various tasks, including patrol and reconnaissance missions, as well as for providing support to Special Forces. In Lebanon, it will be used for patrolling, observation and force protection on the ground.
