Demonstration of Armaments and Defense Equipment of SAF in front of the Guard House
The President of Serbia and the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, has attended a stationary demonstration of the armaments and defense equipment of SAF.
Also attending the demonstration were the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik, Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, Minister of Defense Miloš Vučević, Chief of General Staff SAF General Milan Mojsilović, and other representatives of the Ministry of Defense and Serbian Armed Forces.
A large number of armaments and defense equipment were presented, among others, the armaments from the range of products of Jugoimport-SDPR already introduced in service of SAF, such as the multipurpose combat armored vehicle „Lazar 3“ and „Lazar 3M“, combat armored vehicle „Miloš“. There have also been the armaments from the development program of Jugoimport-SDPR that have yet to be introduced in service of SAF, such as the combat armored vehicle „Miloš 2“, „Alas“ missile, multitube modular self-propelled 128/262 mm rocket launcher „Tamnava“, and kamikaze-drone „Raven“.
The Technical Test Center of SAF should soon start testing the combat armored vehicle „Miloš 2“ and the „Alas“ missile, while the testing of the self-propelled 128/262 mm rocket launcher „Tamnava“ and the kamikaze-drone „Gavran“ should be completed by the end of the year. Also in the phase of preparation for testing is the self-propelled gun-howitzer 155 mm „NORA B52 NG“.
President Vučić has mentioned that the latest version of the Serbian armored transporter „Lazar 3“ attracted the vast interest of foreign buyers.
Speaking of equipping the Serbian Armed Forces with modern defense equipment, it has been highlighted that a large number of multipurpose combat armored vehicles from the production range of Jugoimport-SDPR have been ordered.
