Combat drones and Airdrop ammunition for drones

Ministry of Defense

Following global trends in development of armaments, Serbian defense industry and Yugoimport-SDPR have turned their attention to drone weapon systems ever since they first appeared, focusing not only to develompment of UAVs, both attack (bomber) drones and projectile (kamikaze) drones, but also to ammunition to be used with them.

Projectile drones development was based on integration of warheads (shaped charge and fragmentation) with standard FPV drones, but also with fixed wing UAVs (so called ’loitering munitions’).

Bomber drone ammunition was based on conversion of grenade launcher ammunition in all three standard calibres (60 mm, 81/82 mm и 120 mm), primarily through integration of highly reliable impact and proximity fuzes, both mechanical and electronic. Also, there are newly developed special types of drone ammunition filled with thermobaric explosives, especially in cal. 120 mm.

Several types of ammunition intended for use with light UAVs are currently under development based on conversion of 40 mm launcher grenade ammunition.

We are also working on integration of anti-tank rocket launchers and machine guns into attack drones.
