Combat Armored Vehicles “Milosh” Used During SAF Infantry Company Preparations for Peacekeeping Mission in Lebanon

Collective training of an infantry company from the 1st Army Brigade, which will be deployed within the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in the summer, is underway South Base, Borovac Training Ground.

The Serbian Armed Forces - SAF have been deploying a unit of an infantry company-level in Lebanon since 2013.

In the course of several-month long preparations, during which the unit has been trained to perform tasks in the area of operations, the professional soldiers and officers have undergone tactical, firearms, and physical training aimed to refresh their knowledge and skills, and get them ready for the current collective training.

In the first phase of preparation of the infantry unit from the 1st Army Brigade at South Base, a training for machine-gun operators and drivers of multipurpose armored vehicles underwent a hands-on training on the “Milosh” vehicles, which were used on the occasion.

The combat armored vehicle „Milosh“ is intended for various combat tasks in both attack and defense missions. It features sturdy ballistic and anti-mine protection, and is equipped with a 12.7 mm RCWS (Remotely Controlled Weapon Station), which makes it an advanced and efficient combat system.
