Aero Meeting in Vršac Celebrates a Century of the Aviation Academy

Today, September 22, 2024, the Aviation Academy celebrated its 100th anniversary with the largest civil-military air meeting in the region, drawing an audience of approximately 15,000 people.

In a spectacular showcase, more than 50 aircraft from the Serbian Army, the Ministry of Interior, the national airline Air Serbia, the Aviation Academy, and various private aviation companies and sports aviation took to the skies above Vršac.

Aviation enthusiasts werethrilled by aerial performances featuring the "Lasta" and "Sova" aircraft, manufactured by the "Utva Aviation Industry" Pančevo, a subsidiary of Yugoimport-SDPR.
