5th International Defense Exhibition „ADEX 2024", Baku - Azerbaijan
The 5th anniversary International Defense Exhibition „ADEX 2024" is the largest event in the region dedicated to defense industry, and is held from 24th to 26th of September 2024, in Azerbaijan (Baku Expo Center).
The 5th „ADEX 2024" opening ceremony was held today, before a large number of esteemed guests.
Traditionally, „ADEX" attracts participants, delegations, and guests from various countries. This year, the exhibition shall be visited by 53 official delegations from 27 countries, including the delegation from the Republic of Serbia. The number of exhibitors expected at the fair is around 270, from 40 countries.
The national pavilions shall represent 14 countries, including the pavilion of R. Serbia – exhibition stand of Yugoimport-SDPR, acting as the integrator of Serbian defense industry.
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, accompanied by the highest state and military officials, has visited Yugoimport’s stand.
Presented at the stand of Yugoimport-SDPR are the armaments and capacities, both of its own production and development facilities and of those of other companies within the Serbian defense industry. The range of products of Yugoimport-SDPR is presented by use of the exhibits of armaments and defense equipment, and mockups of complex combat systems, multimedia presentation, posters and promotional videos.
In presentation of the exhibits, special attention was paid to the combat armored vehicle "Milosh 2", multipurpose combat armored vehicle "Lazar 3", infantry fighting vehicle "Lazanski", 155 mm self-propelled artillery weapon "Nora M15", "Nora M21", and "Nora NG", 122/262 mm self-propelled modular multi-tube rocket launcher "Tamnava", and UAV-kamikaze drone "Raven".
Also presented was the mortar ammunition ranging from 60 mm to 120 mm, medium caliber ammunition ranging from 20 mm to 57 mm, fuses, artillery ammunition ranging from 105 mm to 155 mm, 107 mm and 122 mm artillery rockets, protective equipment, 7.62 mm and 12.7 mm sniper rifles, single-shot and six-shot grenade launchers, 5.56 mm and 7.62 mm automatic rifles, modular rifle, etc.
On the very first day of the exhibition, the stand of Jugoimport-SDPR has been visited by a large number of commercial visitors, but also a number of foreign delegations.
