The 17th International Defense Exhibition "IDEX 2025" Opens in Abu Dhabi, UAE
One of the world’s largest and most significant defense exhibitions, IDEX 2025, was officially opened today in Abu Dhabi. It is the only event in the Middle East and North Africa region showcasing the latest technologies for all branches of the armed forces. Accordingly, this exhibition attracts global attention, not only from high-ranking state and military officials but also from exhibitors and end users from around the world.
Yugoimport, as the integrator of the Serbian defense industry, has been a regular exhibitor at this event since 2003, showcasing the capabilities and latest advancements in the field of armaments and defense equipment, both from its own development and production and from the broader Serbian defense industry portfolio. This year, at Hall 10, Stand D27, Yugoimport-SDPR is presenting its comprehensive defense solutions through a display of military equipment, scale models of advanced combat systems, multimedia presentations, posters, and promotional films.
The armoured combat vehicles "Miloš" and "Miloš 2", the armored multi-purpose combat vehicle "Lazar 3M", the infantry fighting vehicle "Lazanski", the 155mm self-propelled artillery system "Nora NG", the 122/262mm modular self-propelled rocket launcher "Tamnava", the "Lasta" and "Sova" aircraft, the "Gavran" loitering munition, the small remotely-piloted combat drone "Komarac", and the programmable jamming drone PDROM-1 were among the key exhibits that captured visitors' attention.
In addition to these systems, mortar ammunition (60-120mm), medium-caliber ammunition (20-57mm), fuzes, artillery shells (105-155mm), artillery rockets (107mm and 122mm), ballistic equipment, sniper rifles (7.62mm and 12.7mm), single-barrel and six-barrel grenade launchers, automatic rifles (5.56mm and 7.62mm), modular rifles, and other armaments and defense equipment were also presented.
This year, Yugoimport-SDPR was joined by representatives of leading Serbian defense industry companies, including HK "Krušik", "Zastava Oružje", "Sloboda" a.d., "EI-Opek" a.d., "Milan Blagojević - NAMENSKA" a.d., "Iritel" a.d., "Trajal", "Mile Dragić", and others.
On the first day of the exhibition, the Yugoimport-SDPR booth welcomed a large number of commercial visitors and international delegations.
