Visit of Mechanical Engineering Students to the Permanent Exhibition of Armaments and Defense Equipment in Nikinci

Yugoimport welcomed more than forty undergraduate students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, who are attending one of the elective courses available at the Department of Weapon Systems and who came to visit the Permanent Exhibition of Armaments and Defense Equipment in Nikinci.

The visit began with a presentation that included an overview of the company's history and overall activities. The students were introduced to the latest complex combat systems from Yugoimport's development and production program.

The students showed great interest and received answers to numerous questions related to the research, development, production, and testing of armaments and defense equipment, as well as career development opportunities in this very popular and dynamic branch of mechanical engineering.

Continuing the visit, the young academics had the opportunity to see, at first hand, the entire potential of the domestic defense industry in one place. The future engineers gained insight into the latest products in the field of conventional and missile weapons, combat platforms, various types of ammunition, protective and other equipment.

A particularly significant part of the visit was a tour of the prototype workshop, where students could see systems such as NORA 155 mm self-propelled gun-howitzer, LAZAR 8x8 multi-purpose armored combat vehicle, and MILOS 4x4 armored combat vehicle.

Yugoimport and the Department of Weapon Systems have a long-standing successful cooperation, which, among other things, is reflected in this kind of student visits, which contribute significantly to their education by furnishing them with practical knowledge.
