Training of Combat Crews for the 155 mm Self-Propelled Howitzer B-52 M-15 "Nora" Underway
Training for combat crews operating the 155 mm self-propelled howitzer "NORA B-52" is currently in full swing at the Mixed Artillery Brigade's deployment locations and training ranges around Niš.
This training program aims to sustain high operational proficiency in delivering artillery fire support to the Serbian Army's maneuver units during various combat operations. Additionally, it serves to prepare professional soldiers for other roles within the crews of this artillery system.
During this phase of training, the crews are primarily practicing procedures for reconnaissance tasks and establishing firing positions, while effectively utilizing the automated fire control system to conduct indirect fire operations, in accordance with the prescribed standards and norms that guarantee effective response capabilities.
The 155 mm self-propelled gun-howitzer B-52 M-15 "Nora" is a fully automated system characterized by high accuracy and precision of artillery fire, as well as by rapid response time inestablishing and vacating firing positions, combined with advanced data processing capabilities. Its introduction in the Serbian Armed Forces has dramatically enhanced the unit's ability to engage targets of tactical, operational, and strategic importance.
