Training of the 4th Army Brigade units using multirole armored combat vehicles “Lazar 3”
As part of an intensive training cycle, artillery, armored, and infantry units of the 4th Army Brigade successfully completed several days of field training at the “Pasuljanske livade” proving ground.
In conditions close to real combat scenarios, the Brigade’s professional personnel refined tactical procedures and practiced the combat use of key armament, while testing their tactical and firing readiness for executing designated tasks in Serbian Armed Forces operations.
A key segment of the training involved tactical exercises and live firings. During the field training, the units used the multirole armored combat vehicles “Lazar 3”, which once again proved to be highly reliable in performing various tactical operations and carrying out the most demanding tasks.

The 8x8 drive and the modern independent suspension system on all eight wheels provide the “Lazar 3” armored combat vehicle with excellent mobility and load-bearing capacity. The power train is accommodated in the front right-side of the vehicle, in a protected space completely separated from the crew compartment. The central transfer case transmits the torque to all wheels. All the shafts provide power, while the first two steer the wheels. The vehicle is also equipped with a highly sophisticated, modular ballistic and anti-mine protection, as well as an air conditioning system that allows the vehicle and its crew to operate in extreme climatic conditions.
